Bought her mid way through last year, She was abit of a mess, and has had 2 previous owners. before me it was owned by a mother i believe and garaged, It only had 36,000 miles on the clock when i bought it and even though theres no absolute proof of this, i believe it to be genuine due to the fact she runs sweet. and the bodywork is in amazing condition. Then when her son learnt to drive he became the new owner of the car and fitted buckets, minilights, attempted a new dash, But when i bought it all this had been taken out and i was left with some dodgy burnt out electrics a speedo which had had the wiring harnes plug cut out and the cires soldered to the back of the circuit. And when i bought it it had a new bonnet, wing and abit of repair work to the top of the other wing, And needed a re-spray and some tidying up and modifiying to my satisfaction.. ..halfway through starting the body work... + smoothing the bootlid for the mk1 number plate light... Note the happy looking dad Before the re-spray.. During... After.. And thats the main part, since then ive fitted a louder horn, Cdplayer (pics of install later) Sprayed parts of the dash red. Added some mini city stickers i made, added some chrome scratch panels behind the door handles. And in the future, ive going to fit a proper underseat speaker board.. (instead of the ghetto 6x9,s jsut dropped in the rear bins) add a chrome sill strip. maybe some angel eye headlights. a sub + amp. boot liner kit tachometer cigrette lighter black stripe down the side of the car And some proper mini mirrors, that i can actually see out of!!! Thats the story so far!

well pictures update, coz it was sunny. Put my new buss driver steering wheel on, sprayed the cirgrette lighter multi socket im going to wire up black. did some other little jobs.(its now got 4 matching wheels for the first time in months) still need to spray the steering coloumn surround black. Oh yeah, put loadsa stickerson teh rear parcel shelf, but its not really in keeping with the style im going for, i just saw a vw camper and got inspired i guess. Also, check out the rat look speaker pods Just mock ups before i get some cut out at college and paint+ cut them to size properly. Also thinking of spraying the silver bit of the clock surrounds white, and the steering wheel white? And next project is MK2 stylee rear lights, is it possible to switch just the lenses over?

Looks gurrrrrd Nope... you can't change the lenses... you need the whole units... but they fit in exactly the same holes

eeeeewwww, that means effort of sorting a reverse light, might just use a clear indicator unit.
Hmm, do fog lights have to be a certain birghtness? could use 2 inidcator units as fog / reverse lights, with clear and red lenses. hmm, one at each side hanging below the bumper could look well!

I don't have a clue what you're on about! lol But fog light bulbs and Brake light bulbs have to be at least 100mm from each other... by law... lol Ryan

i was basically thinking, instead of the rectangular rear fog, use an indicator off the front with a red lense instead, so you have a cooler looking circular rear fog light, then do the same on the opposite side with a clear lensefor a reverse . But yeah lmao. Just thinking outloud
