I thought you didn't need a fuse for an air horn, they can sap the power direct from your battery, I thought that's how Ryan wired his in?

Mine take the power from a perminant live, the same one which runs my radio and auxiliary fan. This is fused in my actual fuse box. The only time I have run a wire to the battery was for an earth as I didn't have the time to drill a proper hole. As far as I can remember someone once told me "NEVER run ANYTHING straight from the battery, even with an inline fuse!".... but I can't remember why Ryan ;D

You should NEVER run things on your car direct from battery.
Everything on your car should have a fuse, whether it be and inline or fusebox affair.
If anything goes wrong with the wiring or equipment then the fuse will blow, which is a lot better than a fire. Most car fires (not arson) start like this.
Please sort this out or it could be the end of the Bean!
Just trying to get my airhorns in. Had to also fit them into the boot as nowhere else has enough room! I am gonna take a wire that feeds the stereo to run this. It's fused from fuse box already. Taking longer than I hoped.

David x. its either blowing it because its shorting out somewhere or its pulling too much through for the size of the fuse.mine's fused between the compressor and through my main fuse box. Fuse box is on the stereo connector one and i've used a 25 amp fuse there and a 15 on the in line to my compressor...
