Hi guys, Latest update on my equinox, Just had a Maniflow manifold & Play mini exhaust fitted. exhaust is single box 3in centre exit. sound very noisy & feels a little bit quicker. It has totally changed the character of the car. my friends used to say it looked cute now it is just angry. loving it loads ;D. Ask Shabaz he has heard it. Will try and get some pictures up this weekend. Also does anyone now where I can get an Oxygen sensor cheaply, couldn't get the old 1 out of prev manifold. so far been told about £80.00. Have Fun Iain

Yeah, the Lambda sensors are suuuuper expensive, I'm on my 3rd one I get mine from Andrew Page in Halifax, £70 Also... try not to be tempted by the super cheap ones, I and other people have found that only the genuine Bosch ones work in minis.... Ryan

Mine is also a Play Mini twin exit exhaust and has the cat took out too which makes it quite loud but a good sound too.
I would be wary of replacing the lamdba senser without taking to a garage and put on laptop first. A lot of people think that it's not running right and it's bound to be that. Most times it isn't. Other sensers on the engine can have the same faults and are much cheaper to replace.
Ryan if you have had 3 then I suspect you haven't found the correct fault. They are not usually unreliable!

Ryan if you have had 3 then I suspect you haven't found the correct fault. They are not usually unreliable! Yep I have... I've had the wrong manifold on for about a year... so I've had my original one, which broke when my exhaust was blowing for a good month (students couldn't afford gun gum... lol) then I had one in the wrong manifold, so it blew straight away and now one in my living room, going into the right manifold this week When/if I ever get my crypton fixed I'll be able to do SPi tuning... anyone know anywhere I can gat custom electrical cables made? lol Ryan ps... have you tryed heating the area round the sensor up to free it? They do get super hot though and "weld" themselves in with use...
