right... i've not fitted my cat back on but we've discovered that my down pipe has a MASSIVE hole in it so has anyone got 1 (cheap) or am i best off to a scrapers and getting 1?? cheers David x.

Mega mini had a pile of these at Bingley Hall. Did you get one? Else a big snot of weld may do the trick. Removing the thing could be tricky though, especially on an injection Mini.
I think we all need to follow Ed's bonnet fitting method.

Apparently my dad took my manifold off to weld my new exhaust properly Mustn't be that hard then! LOL Ryan ;D

Probably: Bonnet off (make sure you mark where the bolts went through) Airfilter off Injection stuff off then release manifold clamp above and below. And there is the sensor wire too
I think if you want a Mini that is easy to work on then you need one like Ed's or Sheree's when it is done.
