ok!
im back from Oz and im ready to go again!!!
the colour is now going to be tweed grey with a snoberry white roof, im not sure why i changed my mind but oh well its definately not changing again!!!!
i have a dark blue viynl interior, i need some classic retro buckets and a steering wheel....
i have loads of dials for my rally dash panels, and i really need a respray..... lol
i have a 1098 and some twin carbs both of which need a rebuild!!!
i may just get a standard working 998 block just so its at least on the road!!!
i need to choose some wheels too now! ive decided to go archless, so i dont know weather to go for minilites or reverse rims in white (silver minilites)
so, thats the little update to get stared!! ive finished school now and im off to art colledge in sept so i have plenties of time!!!
update soon!!

as per the wheels...
if you want it slightly agressive then go for the minilites! ;D
Reverse rims look more classic IMO ;D

yesterday, along with fitment of the grill and grill buttons, which are slightly wonky.... i also went round with my fibreglass and filled all the holes around the grill, over the arches, the boot, and the extra unneeded hole in the doors for the wingmirrors.
its coming along! all thats left before a respray is bit more filler over the fibreglassing, new sill and a panels, patch in the rear quater, more filler, then a rub down, then get the thing sprayed, then slap in an engine and get it rolling projecting!

righty! Pics!! first up is the bootlid i got off david. i got rid of all the rust with a grinder, then i used fibreglass to cover the holes. it was then sanded down, sprayed with anti rust primer, and filler applied over the top to smooth it out, which was then sanded down, and finally the lid was rubbed down with 1200 wet n dry, lovely! i used a wire brush drill to get rid of the grease and rust in my engine bay, i painted it with white hammerite, i then put my new master cylendar pate on, and painted my master cylendars in silver hamerite (still to finish) it looks really smart! i still need to do the innner wings too. bit more fillering to do around the headlamps, then its an overall rub down including the parts inside which will be painted, the its off to ryans on Thursday for its welding and paintjob!!! i also got this off ebay as my lucas seald beam one has blown, and i cant fix it... but this one used bulbs so i will beable too if it blows! here are some pics of the sill and the nasty hole in the quarter panel!
