looking good! you need to really rub down those rust patches until you can see bare metal, then paint over with some anti rust primer, if there is a hole, use some fibreglass, then prime.

yeah its coming on. primering is commencing on panels that we can do. needs a bit of welding doing, but it's doing well. gonna get it booked in for the respray soon ed - how did you take your fuel tank out? fancy coming to give us bit of a hand with the engine too? when the beans through the mot? thanks! sheree x

Undo the sender wires, and the retainer strap... bolt at the front of the boot "area" lol Make sure the cap is off and the tanks fairly empty then just push from the neck... if it sticks then you mite want to "persuade" it... a bit of grease, shouldn't, but may be needed. Fitting is the opposite, make sure the rubber seal is in BEFORE you start! lol Ryan ;D

thought id finally update ... we now have a unit instead of a garage, to store my car over the winter our clubby and a fellow mini owner s store his sidewalk it did have a well build office. we ripped it out.... before we moved the clubby i primerd the decent back panal and the rear it turned out quite well for a spray can anyway we got the clubby in took aged to get it onto the trailer. but its in main job was to get the engine out 1st

draining oil what we used to take the engine out 7 x scafolding poles 1 x winch 1 x rope easy! we had real trouble with the balljoints and the separating them from everything so on my orders as i was going to get the engine out that day said "grind it off" ed wasnt too pleased =] llook at his face =P after all the faffing and cutting things off we shouldnt the engine was out . voila!!! loom out plus evertyhing else
